The 2017 graduation ceremony for graduates of Sino-U.S. academic cooperation program was successfully held at Chengyi University College, Jimei University.

On the morning of June 7,the 2017 students graduation ceremony of the Sino-foreign academic cooperation program of Keuka China Programs was held in theShangda building, Jimei University.Dr. Jorge Diaz-Herrera, President of Keuka College,Dr. Joseph Hwang,Administrative Chancellor for Keuka China Programs at China Campuses ,Dr. Michael Hwang,Keuka College Professor of Career Management and Experiential Learning and Emeritus Administrative Chancellor for Keuka China Programs at China Campuses, Prof. Li Qingbiao,President of Jimei University, Prof. Ye Guanghuang, President of Chengyi University College,Jimei University, Prof. Huang Yixin, VicePresidentof Chengyi University College, Jimei University,  faculty members of International Business Department, Keuka College faculty and the Chengyi University College, Jimei University graduates as well as their parents attended the graduation ceremony.

At the graduation ceremony, both Chinese and foreign leaders and student representatives delivered speeches respectively. The ceremony was awonderfulevent, and the atmosphere was warm and touching.President Diaz-Herrera presented the Keuka College diplomas to the graduates, and moved the tassel for the graduates to represent their graduation.Dr. Joseph Hwangpresented the Career Management and Experiential Learning Excellence Awards and the Academic Excellence Awards to those graduates and also placed on them the yellow and green sashes, respectively. The graduates and many along with their parents walked onto the stage for a group photo.

Dr. Diaz-Herrera, President of Keuka College, personally presented the Golden Key Academic Excellence Award Pan Tingting, who won the first prize in the 2017 Keuka China Programs.  Only one graduate with the top academic achievement of the Keuka China Programs courses is presented with this award each year.  Thus far, out of the 11 graduates who have been presented with this award, eight of them are from Jimei University.

At the graduation ceremony, Dr. Diaz-Herrera, President of Keuka College, personally presented the Golden Key Academic Excellence Award to Pan Tingting.  Only one graduate with the top academic achievement of the Keuka China Programs courses is presented with this award each year.  Pan Tingting, a student of the Sino-U.S. academic cooperation program, won the first prize with a GPA 4.0(GPA is a grade point average of Keuka College, with 4.0 being maximum ) among this year’s Keuka China Programs graduates.

Chengyi University College has always attached much importance to running school openly in order to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with foreign countries to expand students international vision, and to enhance the employability of students.
