This Saturday, the school arranged shuttles to take us to the city. Two options were available: East View Mall and Rochester. I went to an Asian Market in Rochester. The moment we went in, we had the illusion that it was a market in China. All the customers and shop assistants were Chinese. Everyone spoke Chinese as well. There were a variety of Asian food, most of which was from China and Korea. We bought spicy instant noodles, moon cakes, salted vegetables, electric cooker, etc. They were Chinese food, but much more expensive than that in China.
After shopping, we went to a Chinese restaurant called”Shanghai”. The food there was awesome. They tasted like Chinese food, not western Chinese food.

On the way back, we were very excited. Enjoying the scenery along the road, we talked, sang and laughed loudly. The elegant houses, large farms, lush plants and vast farmlands got in our eyes on and on. The country life in the United States is simple and comfortable. Far away from the noisy city, people can lead a life with the peace of mind.
