The aim of the Sino-foreign academic cooperation program is to expand the students’ international vision and to enhance their employment ability. In 2003, the Jimei University, P.R.C. and Keuka College, U.S.A. cooperation was approved by the Academic Degree Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. And the cooperation program brings advanced educational principles and recourses from abroad. At Chengyi University College, Jimei University, there were two in demand majors by students which are business management and accounting. Fifteen of the courses are delivered by Keuka College professors using the original English instruction materials and applying the same instruction methods as those used at the U.S. home campus. This allowed the students in the program to study abroad without leaving China. Up until June 2018, Chengyi University College, Jimei University has 2,048 Keuka China Programs graduates. The graduates from the Keuka China Programs have demonstrated to have good solid foundations, good English language skills, and are sought out by leading foreign and Chinese companies. This shows the strength of the education and training provided by the Sino-foreign academic cooperation program.
