The 2010 Graduation Ceremony of the Sino-Us Cooperatively-run Schools is held in the International Conference Hall of YUFE international Business School. Dr. Joseph Burke, president of Keuka College, New York, USA and Dr. Anne Weed, academic vice-president of Keuka College, Dr. Michael T.C. Hwang, vice-president and Director of Keuka China Programs, as well as Dr. Gary Smith, vice-president of Keuka College, professor Libin Wang, vice-president of YUFE as well as the heads of the related departments.

Dr. Burke, president of Keuka College, congratulates to the graduates and their parents and he gives the students five suggestions that everyone in the future should work hard and make constant progress to make contributions to the development of china and the world! And, Mr. Libin Wang, vice-president of YUFE warmly welcome the Keuka College group, and gave several suggestions to the graduates that they should make innovations constantly, realize their ideals and achieve considerable career.

Dr. Michael T.C. Hwang, vice-president of Keuka College, specially mentioned a Vietnamese student of 2004, Nguyen Bi Ye, who found this kind of course is able to promote the training of the students’ comprehensive ability when she studied professor Huang’s courses of Career Planning and Experiential Education which have not been opened in Vietnam. She greatly hopes that like Chinese students, Vietnamese students also could enjoy the benefits of Career Planning and Experiential Education. When she applied for the Vietnam office, funds shortage became the biggest problem. Once learnt it, without hesitation, Professor Huang subsidized her 10,000 yuan which is the Royalties Pay of his book-----“Career Planning”. This is because professor Huang saw the spirit of “Xiaowo” and “Dawo”. “Xiaowo” means full of confidence, hope and Passion as well. While, “Dawo” means since I am fine, I hope my country will fine, too, and here is the spirit to promote the Vietnamese education through the education of Sino-Us Cooperatively-run Schools.

One year later, on a Sunday in May, Bi Ye Ruan asked Miss Chunjin Duan, a teacher of the International Business School ,to bring Professor Huang 12,000 Yuan with which she sincerely thanked for the 10,000 Yuan from Professor Huang and she said that the 2000 Yuan is the bonus that professor Huang deserved. At last, professor Huang said:” Confidence, creates wealth, confidence, also a kind of love!”

On the ceremony, the leaders of Keuka College award the diplomas to graduates, and academic excellence prize and the excellent experiential learning and career management prize for them.
